Easy Tuna Salad and Pantry Meal with food storage

This was a favorite of my kids!  They liked to fix it, too.

Easy Tuna Salad  (Pantry Meal with food storage)
Serves 8

1 lb. Pasta of your Choice
1 to 2 cups Green Peas depending on your taste    (1st preference frozen peas cooked in with the        pasta, then canned, then dried, then freeze dried  because of the cost.
2 Cans Tuna
Salad Dressing  about 2 c.
Onion,1/2 medium chopped
Cherry tomatoes, 1 c. optional

Paprika, sprinkle on top.

Boil 8 to 10 minutes, if you add the frozen peas it takes a little longer because it drops the temperature of the water a bit.  Salt the water, if you like it that way.  While the pasta cooks, drain the tuna, chop the onions and add the salad dressing.  Stir and add cherry tomatoes, if using.

When pasta is finished, drain well and  add to the tuna mixture.  Add more salad dressing as needed or desired.  Top with paprika.

Serve immediately or chilled.  We like it even better the second day!

To use as a pantry meal with food storage:
Canned green peas or rehydrate dried green peas, and onions.

~~~
I package this as one meal and now that we are down to two, I can use half and still leave half in the box for the next time by refrigerating the salad dressing.
