July: 2019 Back to Basics

BACK TO BASICS
Mackay Meadows Ward, July 2018

BE PREPARED.     To be prepared with needed supplies is only half of what is needed.  The other half is the skills to use the supplies.  A first aid kit is good, if you know how to sue it.  Food is good to have in storage but to know how to prepare it on an open fire, emergency stove, sun oven, etc. makes it much better.  A tent and bedding is good but knowing where to set up camp and how to set up equipment is necessary to get the best use of equipment.  Know how to use supplies and what supplies to have if you are home, in your vehicle, or on foot.  If you ae short supplies, have the resourcefulness to make do.
